Carla Amado

Carla Amado is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of the Algarve and an integrated member of the Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics (CEFAGE), being the coordinator of the University of the Algarve of this research center. She holds a Masters in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Manchester, and a PhD in Industrial and Management Studies from the University of Warwick. Her main research interests include the evaluation of efficiency, effectiveness and equity in the provision of health services; construction of quality of life indices and active ageing.
