Statistical data collected in the Study on Aging Economy (2015) defining the characteristics and habits of the over-60s within the Spanish population.
With the aim of offering a global overview of the economic potential of the so-called silver segment, a series of data have been compiled to make up the Study on the Economics of Ageing, which can be consulted in the icons below. Through empirical work based on a survey of the Spanish population, a detailed profile of this segment is obtained and analysed comparatively with the rest of the population. The construction of this profile is based on six key axes to assess the impact and economic potential of this population group: adoption of new technologies, shopping habits, travel and leisure experience, entrepreneurship, quality of life and satisfaction with old age.
